Uncategorized iCloud Mail's fancy new web design is now available to all – Cult of Mac

iCloud Mail has a shiny new interface on the web. The new look, which first entered beta testing back in June, is now available to all. It will be instantly familiar to those who use the built-in Mail app on Mac and iPad.

If you visited iCloud Mail on the web a few days ago, you would have been greeted by an app that looked like it was still designed for the iOS 7 era. It was clean and tidy, but certainly starting to look way past its “best before” date.

iCloud Mail gets a brand-new look

That’s no longer the case. iCloud Mail on the web has been refreshed, and now looks a lot more like the native Mail app found in the latest versions of macOS and iPadOS. It sports a more modern design and more readable fonts.

You’ll also notice bolder icons that make side bar items, buttons, and more easier to identify at a glance Contact pictures now appear at the top of your emails, and the compose window no longer takes up your entire screen.
Apple has also made it so that you can access its new Custom Email Domain and Hide My Email features without having to visit the iCloud beta website. Simple click you name in the top-right corner to access account settings.

Mail is the only iCloud web app that’s getting a new look alongside iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey. All other iCloud apps — like Calendar, Photos, and Notes — look the same for now.
