Uncategorized Ngirici: God Has Unleashed a Losing Spirit Against Ruto –

Kirinyaga Woman Representative, Wangui Ngirici, claimed that Deputy President William Ruto was bound to lose August 9, 2022 polls.
Speaking to residents of Kirinyaga on Saturday, January 15, she claimed that God had unleashed a losing spirit against DP Ruto.
Ngirici stated that recent forays by politicians in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), who have been making rounds in the region, casting her aspersions on her campaign.
“They came here and say, leave her (Ngirici) alone, she just goes around campaigning in the village.
“Let me tell you, if you hear they’ve reached that point, just know that God has unleashed a spirit that will see the party go down,”Ngirici declared.
The Woman Rep noted that she would not be intimidated by the sentiments of such politicians.
Ngirici faulted the UDA affiliated members of parliament for disrespecting leaders from the region who decided not to join the party. She told Ruto that it will not only work against their ‘preferred candidate’, Governor Anne Waiguru, but also against him.
“Feel free to continue insulting us, but that will be to the disadvantage of the person you are pushing to us,” she noted.
The outspoken lawmaker further dismissed the notion that there was a UDA wave sweeping across the Mount Kenya region.
“Now they claim that UDA has a following, that there is a wave. It is a spirit of pretense, a spirit of the devil,” she claimed.
Ngirici’s remarks are an indication of the frosty relationship between her and Ruto since she officially announced her exit from the wheelbarrow party on December 27.
She claimed that there were forces within the party that wanted her to shelve her gubernatorial ambitions in favour of Waiguru.
However, during a media interview on January 11, Murang’a Senator, Irungu Kang’ata denied the allegations.
“They are not true. No one has approached her to drop her bid but even if indeed there are people who did that, she had the liberty to say no and proceed to seek nominations to fight with Governor Waiguru on a free and fair nomination,” Kang’ata stated.
